POSITION DESCRIPTION
A qualified employee of the service department who answers to the store manager is a licensed mechanic.
Job responsibilities and obligations
The following responsibilities belong to a licensed mechanic:
- Analyze and fix cars and light trucks
- Replace or repair any worn-out or broken parts
- Carry out routine maintenance procedures, such as oil changes
- Tuning-ups and lubrication
- Maintain a tidy and orderly workspace
- The productivity of the Employee will be observed
- Employees will be expected to operate in line with industry standards as well as North Rock Truck & Tire-specific standards
- The Service Department is open from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for this position:
- A current 310S License
- A valid driver’s license for Ontario
- A complete set of tools, containing all the tools required to Fulfill the daily tasks that are assigned to him/her
- Communication and interpersonal abilities that are strong WHY WORK FOR US
- A licensed mechanic is paid according to his or her qualifications and expertise. An experienced candidate will be paid up to $40.00 per hour. We are dedicated to our workers and give them the chance to advance professionally and financially.
